The person was a third of my age. My response to her:
I’ve lost my entire family, some to very difficult passings - starvation and all.
My daughter is critically ill for the past two years
A daughter moved to Florida
There’s also a rollover accident with the jaws of life being used.
I’m sure that might not mean much to young people... but
Yes, I’m angry!
If life were anymore “real” I wouldn’t be here!
I am aging which is a universal event but I will say “it’s not for wimps!"
Pain is a constant companion.
You try pain medication.
You try it but it’s harder to get than to win the lottery.
My friends are aging too, they are the gold leaf in my life.
My first love is God who created me and stands with me until Jesus takes me home.
If I won the greatest prize in this world it would be my three children - our family unit walked a bumpy road but we made it.
They are hardworking, loving, cherished adults.
I’m not asking for pity, I’m asking for the next generation to understand.
This is real life and I know it!
I write this from my senior scooter.
