The summer is coming!!!! Which means kids will be home!!! Aye aye aye! So, let's have some fun... right in your own backyard. I'm thinking a small kiddie pool complete with rubber duckies to cool off, a few lounge chairs in the yard, plenty of sunblock and lots of duct tape for helping to close big mouths! LOL... kidding, of course!
Blender for fruit shakes, like bananas, mangos, berries and oranges... YUM!!!! And lots of fresh iced-tea. Be sure to keep the ice trays full! You can even make fruit juice cubes by just filling the trays with the kids favorite drinks. Herbs in the yard, a spearmint plant for a delicious aroma everytime you open the door and the windows and a few citronella plants to keep the mosquitos away. And let's not forget the barbecue! Plenty of fun outdoors... pineapple, too, is great on the grill! Everything light and refreshing.
Now this one can be tricky, but the kids love putting up the tent and have sleepovers with their friends. (as long as they leave in the morning! you know that NEVER happens lol) Could be lots of fun.
